Good during the day but at night it's - not so much. Loud. Uncomfortable seating etc. Like a night club but for older people who like to lean in close and shout into each other's ears. Small but decent menu, below average beer, decent cocktails, often has good live entertainment, best for an afternoon drink in the sun.

Really cool atmosphere inside and out. Draft beer list was only a handful, but did have some very special limited releases. They've got good cocktails there too.

Nice bar in Ponsonby by Lot 3, with the entrance across the road from Ponsonby Central. What makes it nice is the outdoor area that they have as well as the indoor bit which has the standard pub feel. There is a bar in the outdoor area so it is easy to get drinks when you're out there.

Busy bar, casual dress-code. On some nights, there's only 2 bartenders attending all of the people so it often takes 10x longer to get the drinks than to finish it up. The music is a bit of hit and miss.

Great crowd - alternative as well as mainstream - and cool outside space. Great music. Great food and drinks lists. One of my favorite bars in Auckland
