  Animals are predictable, Humans are not ! We tend to always complain when things go wrong but hardly ever say anything when things go right. Today I had a Fantastic Experience as I called in to order a meal for my wife and I. It took me back 12 years ago when I last visited here and had that same feeling, Excellent Food and especially the service. The young lady who served me was great and also the Bar Manageress who I seem to remember had a lovely smile and it was most welcoming .I know. you have a JEWEL in the Chef, RICHARD, nothing was a problem The food was out of this world and If I had to employ somebody he would be the first on my list . Just imagine if there were more Humans like them what A Wonderful World this would be. I give you SIX STARS.. THANK YOU SO MUCH !!!!@@##%^^% Regards Bruce & Sui laan ..

  As we came in this restaurant tonight and within the first minute the lady who was working said "do you have a booking?" And we said no then that lady said "we can't serve you" with the worst attitude and in front of the whole restaurant and everyone looked at us. This is at around 7pm and we have a young child with us who got really upset.
  For a first impression of this place I was so disgusted!!! How do you serve these people when you talk to potential customers like we are trash.
  We now know not to ever go to this place! They also had many spare tables in this restaurant.
  Now we have currently eating dinner at 'the shires' where the staff are amazing and really accomodating and makes us feel comfortable the service is really really good here. This restaurant is way more busier and they made a table just for us!

  Wonderful experience. Had our daughter's wedding here. Food was wonderful and accomodation great. Will be back for more.

  The Kentish is a cute country pub. We had booked 10 rooms and the function room for our event. I particularly liked the how nothing was a problem with Gina, the manager, she was most helpful and the event went with out a hitch. The catering was really nice and the sit down dinner we had in the restaurant after was of a good size, tasty and there was a good variety of dishes on offer. The rooms, while the place is quite old, were comfortable and warm and it wasn't a problem sharing the bathroom as we travel for work a lot as a group and stay in a range of accommodation around the country all the time. Thanks for having us!

  Amazing food and very friendly servers. Everyone loved their dishes which were clearly cooked fresh to order.
