I am currently investigating this establishment. I will be speaking with the Ministry of Social Development and other relevant agencies providing them with feedback, evidence and legislation to support my recommendation. It is unsafe and unhygienic for vulnerable solo mothers and their children. Owner seems to be discriminating customers as well. Enough said.

Me and my partner stayed here for 1 werk and Worst lodge i have ever slept at.
1. No kithen for us to cook in
2. They dont come top up things like toilet paper
3.internet u had to pay $5 a day
I could go on and on to be honest but just take my word if you are looking for a decent place then go to cascades motel in pakurangaresponse / report this review -

The owner doesn't respect privacy,doesn't like you 2 have visitors&the cost doesn't reflect value.I would avoid at all costs.Allenby Park Motor Inn is a far better option.Superb customer service&excellent standard of furnishings&utilities.

Absolutely worst motel in NZ you pay $1050.00 per week and you get cockroaches a broken toaster, unchanged sheets, no toilet paper cold showers and a owner who dosint allow any visitors, my younger brothers mother and 87year old caucasian grandmother where shoed away at 2pm daytime as if they were criminals, owner threatening to call police if he sees any visitors againaparantley you need to pay more than $1050 to have somebody else be allowed in your room..ABSOLUTELY TAKING ADVANTAGE OF THE POOR OR NEEDY THRU CHARGING WINZ THESE OUTRAGEOUS PRICES FOR SUCH DISCUSTING ROOMS AND THEN ONCE PAID TREATING THEM LIKE A-GRADE SCUM..owners not really wanting these people on emergency housing to stay just wanting the goverment funded moneythey should be treating these people like any tourist or v.i.p patron whos staying on holiday or buisness BECAUSE THEYRE PAYING THE SAME IF NOT MORE WINZ NEEDS TO STOP SENDING PEOPLE HERE..PICS OF COCROACHES BROKEN UTILITYS AND FILTHY SHEETS N MATRESSES AVAILABLE.

Very accomodating friendly warm curtious and helpful , they treated us with respect and had the nicest fresh clean white sheets and towels , the staff were amazing and we will never forget the time we had there with these lovely people who deserve to commended on their hospitality,

I had a family member stay at this motel and it was shocking !!!! Rooms are filthy, smells really bad, the motel owners seems racist. No laundry, was told you have to go down the street to the laundromat, even though there was a sign on one of the doors that said laundry and times it opens and closes, the beds were old and smelly as well as the furniture and very ancient 60's look. The tv was hideous and to top it off had to pay for wifi. STAY AWAY FROM THIS MOTEL !!!
Carpet smelt, grounds filthy huge skip bin outside the room over flowing..yuk
They also charged an extra $20 if you visit but never warned of this extra cost until leaving.

Would never go back. Had a two day stay and I was looking forward to get out of this place,the room was average the outside was shocking its like they have no pride in there establishment. It looks run down the photos they have on their site ain't what you see when you get there However they were nice enough to count there towels and linen on our departure.

Couch looked like it hadn't been cleaned in years. Room smelt of cigarettes. Dressing tables scratched and no air con.
