My partner and I received vouchers and to be honest I wasn't all that keen as I've never done anything like this before.

Have been going here for years on special occasions. If you are comfortable being massaged by a male, Highly recommend the massage therapist named,”Agus.” He is by far the best!

Always exceptional. East Day Spa always take the time to explain their therapies so you get exactly what you like and they check in with you along the way. Their therapy rooms are beautiful, their therapists are always amazing.

Wonderful service, back massage and wax fitted in at the last minute, but service was still exceptional. Relaxing and competitive prices, especially the waxing.

Worse experience ever. Had my eyebrows feathered here and they have faded dramatically over a couple of months so much so that I now have next to no eyebrows as she shaved part of it off. Am currently taking this further to get a refund because I am not happy at all. This is on my face I expect the hugest standard in which I paid for

I was suggested to go there. Was hopeless for a good place to do my nails.
I booked 2 services: waxing and nails( removal and shellac, as they don't use gel)
Waxing was good. The lady was nice.
As for the nails, a veryyy baddd experience. I was charged for 45 min of removal and I didn't had a full removal. Layers of previous work was still there. The lady that was supposed to do my nails was busy so the lady that did my waxing was trying to help me with my nails.
I can't blame her to much as she was trying but the other staff was not professional enough.
I felt I was in an amateur place and not an well known Spa.
But was being patient as this was the second chance for my nails in less than 2 weeks in Auckland. I am in a trip and all ladies know the struggle if your nails are not done properly. So I waited till the end, payed 145.00 $ for Brazilian waxing and removal / shellacking.
The surprise came after 4 days in the most important day. 2 of my nails got ruined. The shellac went off. I tried so hard to call them again to leave an appointment to fix this problem but no answer.
Second time in a row that I get disappointed with nz standards when it comes to nail polish.
It's a joke. After paying all that money I still have my nails done very badly, broken and that hurts.

Was very disappointed had booked in a treatment and when arrived for the treatmeant was told that I was booked in but they were unsure of the treatment so when I told them what was meant to be booked in for they then said they can't do it and could only do a massage as I was booked in for unsure treatmeant when we were clear on the phone to which treatment we wanted. They then said the person who booked it was a senior manager. After not being happy and having no options ended up having no treatment. Then thought to book in the same treatment the next day only to be told no one was working that day who could do it. Not happy at all and the staff seemed like they didn't care and there was nothing they could do. After it being there fault there was nothing they could do not happy at all very bad customer service and communication. Especially from there manager who booked us in the first place.

Booked my sister in for a Surprise Birthday Gift & it was the WORST experience she ever had.
Most of the time she was made to sit in a very uncomfortable position & moved around the spa over a couple of floors during her treatment because she had no chair available for her appointment when I booked it 2weeks prior!!
I paid $70.00 for her treatment & she didn’t get that…she had bits of old skin hanging off her cuticles (from her so called shellac manicure).
My local nail salon in South Auckland charges half the price & they do a fantastic job every time (maybe that's why they are always busy & fully booked most days).
I’m shocked for a business based at the Sky City Grand Hotel we didn't get “QUALITY SERVICE” especially for what we paid.
Would never refer anyone to go there & definitely not booking another appointmentover priced for sure!!response / report this review
