CLOSED PERMANENTLY.
I don't HATE the place.. it has closed permanently! Family have decided it's run its course. Go next door to Dos Amigos and get their fish taco or fish fajita?
Sad that it's an end of an era. 30 years of Fish Pot meals.
It's unfortunate that The Fish Pot Cafe closed its doors last month. The staff was friendly and their mussels were delicious! This restaurant will be missed.
My daughter and I had an absolutely delicious lunch here, and we certainly could not fault the service! Friendly, helpful, and patient We'll definitely be back!
Great little fish and chip shop. Best for taking into the beach or park for lunch or dinner.
Worst experience ever in "the fish pot cafe" sucks attitude the clerks had, I bought a take way meal then I didn't allow to use the toilet of this restaurant. What a ridiculous thing ever. Won't go there again, such a "incredible" place.
People claim this is the best fish & chips in Auckland. I think It's good fish & chips. They also have a dine-in sit down option and a more comprehensive menu. Best thing to do in summer is take your fish & chips down to the water!
Pricey pricey spot. We popped in for chips and didn't prepare to part with so much cash. Luckily they were crispy. Very busy though and can be a little hectic.
Great place to sit and relax with friends! They offer outstanding seafood options and even serve beers. Very friendly staff. They also offer take away option which is quite a bit cheaper.
They have great fish and chips, I've always enjoyed it. I just always had fish dry of oil. Otherwise, for a great price reached nearly two servings. The cheapest in the whole street. Who has a great hunger, I can only recommend.
I've been to both the restaurant and had takeaways from the fish pot. Both times I was super impressed. Would definitely recommend the poached fish in the restaurant, soaking in lemon butter. And the takeaways were clearly fresh and were a generous portion :)
