Must of had a bad day today service and food is usually top notch. Today we disappointing cottage pie had soggy crust.part of meal served 10 mins after first part and flippant comment from staff member saying 'not my department' really let the team down.

Speed by for lunch on our way from Christchurch to Mt Cook. Good meal and a nice play area in the back for kids.

I have food allergies and was so impressed with the service I got at this cafe. The young lady was very happy to help and took my allergies seriously, and she made a phone call to check which cakes I could have. My sultana cake was delicious and my family members all enjoyed their meals too. Thanks for making us all feel welcomed, it was much appreciated.
