I have been here a few times and always find the service to be of a high standard and the food of a consistently high level.

Goodness me, is there a place in New Zealand that has surlier staff or worse customer service. "What do you want!" As a first line sure kicks off the meal on the right foot. No eye contact, no water, no explanation of the menu, no nothing! And for dessert let's fire up the vacuum cleaner. That'll get us out. This place is embarrassing.

Nice place but the service was a little slap-dash. Food was good but nothing really stand-out. Nice, but not amazing.

It's a nice place and the food is good. Specials are served on Tuesday evenings but advanced booking is essential. Meals could do with more green vegetables.

We had a pleasant experience at The Silverspoon. Service was great and the waitress was friendly and helpful. I had the Venison blue cheese pot pie which was delicious followed by an apple rose custard tart. My friends had the fish which they said was lovely as well as the apple tart. We would happily come back to dine there again.

Silverspoon are my favorite restaurant in the whole world, and they have also got the best customer service in the whole world. Plus there wedges are the best I've ever tasted no offense dad. But they are just boss. The atmosphere is also great kind regards Henry

We took some our team out for a special occasion lunch and we were not disappointed. Great service and we all were impressed by the food and the flexibility the staff showed, i.e. veggies rather than chips etc. the steak was cooked to perfection. Even though it was supposed to close at 2pm and we were a few minutes late leaving we never felt pressured to leave. With drinks and full meals the bill came in under expectations. We will definitaly be back.

Top Notch. Excellent food and friendly staff. We went on a day that was very busy. The staff apologised for the wait as a large group had arrived late.
We arrived at 11.30 am and had ordered our food just before 12.00 pm, to me this wasn't much of a wait as we still had a coffee during this time, but it was great that the staff were proactive in the way they dealt with large numbers.
I would dine here again, regardless of how busy it is.response / report this review -

Twenty of us had a Golf prize giving dinner on Sunday, with a fixed menu. The food was great and the service we received from Michelle and Breeze was tremendous.Especially Breeze who had everything under control as we all had separate accounts for our Drinks! All together a successful and enjoyable evening., Thanks Girls
