Went there just for their hot chocolate which is silky and smooth. Liquid gold!! 😂 warning ⚠it might give you heartache. lol

One of Wellington's finest, Scopa can be counted on for high quality food and consistently friendly and professional service. The long-standing Bresolin Brothers joint takes cool to style status through great staff and delicious food.
The Italian cucina style restaurant's strength is its pizzas, which vary from complex to simple across red and white bases. Gluten free is an easy option. Strongly recommend going with the intention of choosing the Pizzaola special, a perfect $20 choice.
The bulk of the menu actually offers the finer choices of real Italian cuisine: fine pastas and great quality meat. Te sides include delicious asparagus and an always advisable bowl of the best roast potatoes.
To top it all off, Scopa boasts an excellent drinks menu offering a broad range of local beers, old world spirits, and great wines from NZ and Italy.

We were a big group with kids, the staff were great with the kids, we had pizza and they were tasty. Hot chocolate was a real treat.

We came here to try their famous hot chocolates and it did not disappoint! The hot choc was decadent and rich but not sickly, very yummy! Very different to your average café-style hot chocolate, but in a great way! I recommend getting the Large size as Medium is just not enough
