Lovely food and service, came here for a date night and it was lovely. They even had a rowdy group dining and the staff were able to keep them out of other customers hair, which is a commendation in itself.
Ambience is laid back - chic and the menu has the more common staples i.e. steak or lamb etc.response / report this review -

The service is excellent and food.
October 2017 - UpdateWow the food was absolutely excellent. One problem was the dessert plate was to flat. when gathering the dessert up I had to use my finger to quickly push it on to my spoon.response / report this review -

The food was great, with a good range. We all enjoyed our food. The servers were helpful, but not too attentive, as it took a while to get one of them to notice our table the couple of times we wanted service.

Meals are massive and taste fantastic, stone grill was great - again with huge amounts of meat. Prepare for a doggy bag situation.
Staff took some prompting to bring side plates with entrees and to bring menus but meals arrived quickly after ordering.response / report this review -

Fantastic service and equally great food, went with friends for lunch and being a sweet tooth ordered desserts and was amazed with the presentation of TRADITIONAL TIRAMISU and TRIO OF ICE-CREAM SUNDAE (pics attached :)). The overall combination of various elements of dessert was perfect and blended nicely to give a very satisfying experience.

My wife and I together with 2 other friends had a dinner there yesterday. Took nearly an hour to prepare our food, and the beef&beef was cooked near "blue", even though we ordered Medium. The lamb shank and seafood chowder had no flavour at all. The staff was good, except the guy in suit. We all very disappointed and would never go there again.

When we arrived we were greeted immediately, even though they were very busy. We were seated and offered to order beverages. We were informed of the daily specials. We ordered the Lamb roast and the Pork ribs. The food presentation was amazing and tasted equally as good as it looked. We will be coming back here for sure!

Just a shadow of it's former glory. Raw seafood and feet still attached to the scallops. The menu is too busy with over a dozen dinner options. I wish the previous owner didn't get done for tax fraud, maybe it wouldn't have gone down hill so quickly.

Voted best beef and lamb for 4years running?! RIGHTLY SO! Went for mums birthday end of May. Dad and I had the lamb! Best decision because it was absolutely delicious. Dad is never easily impressed, however a week later, he was still talking about how great it was. Not only this, the steak was ENORMOUS! Took 4 people to finish. Beautiful place, lovely atmosphere and is our go to place now when we make the trips home to Wellington. Well done guys. Keep it up!

Different every time we go. Food is generally good and customer service generally terrible. Last night the place was uncomfortable, had to request to be moved out side due to a white noise pressure causing issues, asian waiter was fine with this, but copped alot of lip from the european waiter. Food was good but we almost walked out telling them to cancel order before discovering this.

Had the lamb shanks for dinner. Ordered two but ended up giving the 2nd one to my husband cause I was very full. Service was so fast and meal was great. My husband didn't enjoy his eye fillet meal so that's why 4stars. Overall it was a great experience.

Very good food at reasonable prices. Love the duck 3 ways, really enjoyed the whitebait entrees. Dishes are good sizes, venue is quite large, service us good. Punches above its price.
