Just had breakfast there and was the best breakfast I've had since being back in NZ. Scrambled eggs cooked to perfection. Very polite staff. Would always recommend

My partner and I dined here at a super busy time, midday on a Sunday and were lucky to get a table at all. Regardless, we only had a standard wait time, 'Scott' himself took our orders and was also making the coffees and directing his other staff. With a twinkle in his eye, he was more than happy to help and jovially made suggestions for my order when I asked. The coffee he made was divine and the crepes with lemon and brown sugar that I ordered were absolutely delectible. I was more than impressed and will be returning in future for sure to try more of the menu and to enjoy the relaxed yet bustling ambience of this aptly named cafe

Stands out for its food quality and options . The $10 pasta is great. How many times do you go somewhere and you're faced with $5 for a scone or muffin or $20 for stuff you don't want. Can be busy and you won't always get a table but that's a good thing.

Very friendly staffs and lovely menu options. I liked the Srilankan Curry item on the menu for lunch. This place gets busier in the afternoon and their coffees are good too.

My Bubble & Squeak was delicious but the crepes weren't flash (underdone) and the green eggs and ham were over peppered with no salt. Expected better as previous visits haven't disappointed also the notice of 15% holiday surcharge was only displayed once paying so wasn't aware up front.

So much hype but I really don't get it. The famous pasta was way overcooked. The pancakes were undercooked and the toppings on it were way too stingy. Our serving didn't have near as much as the photos shown online.
Though this place has a unique menu, if you're sick of the usual cafe grub. But don't have high expectations.

Best coffee joint in Hamilton. Great service, and I especially love the timber-framed bifold windows out to the lush green courtyard at the back of the cafe.

Nice atmosphere. Food is no-fuss, fresh and delicious. Every visit to Hamilton requires a stop at Scott's for a couple of poached eggs on toast. As I said, the food is no-fuss, but hey, the taste is what matters.
