The food was extremely hot, also the bowl for the pasta, too hot to touch. Rocket salad was just that, no vinaigrette, and just put on top of the pasta. Service was good, waitresses were very attentive.

Not the best Italian I've had, but friendly and family friendly (judging by at least half the customers). Generous pasta servings. I had the risotto special with snapper. Rice was stodgy but nice and lemony. Part of the snapper was burnt but still delicious and good size. (Not too much rice is good too). Had to try the Tiramsu. Absolutely excellent! Came with an unexpected scoop of delicious vanilla ice cream that was more like sorbet as it was not too sweet. Unfortunately the whole thing was drowned in chocolate sauce over all of it. Otherwise v. good. House Italian perfectly drinkable and good value. Call it a 3 or 3.5 out of 5. Staff actually asked if things were OK at least twice. Could always be better but also could be worse! (It's not).

Amazing pizza, we have dined in and ordered takeaway frequently. Friendly, helpful staff and great value for money. The best pizza place in the eastern suburbs.

Went to Scalini's on Easter weekend, this is a restaurant I go to frequently and the whole experience has gone down hill in the last 2 years. The owner was more interested in his phone than dealing with customers, portion sizes have dramatically reduced and the desserts are a joke $10.50 for a Chocolate Sundae which is 3 scoops of Vanilla Ice Cream and a splash of chocolate sauce, nothing else. No wonder you do not need to book to get in anymore my advice try another restaurant in St Heliers

Pasta great, but pizza is poor (reminds me of a ham and cheese toastie) and other dishes seem like unseasoned meat, often dry with some sauce slapped over it.
