Absolutely brilliant steak served here. We had the Wakanui scotch and rump cuts with peppercorn sauce and cafe de Paris butter, respectively. The steaks were cooked to perfection. The creamed spinach and whipped potatoes were very tasty, and the lemon dessert was divine.

Now I would have given this restaurant a five if after spending close to $50 on a steak and literally that's all you got, I didn't have to spend $12 for each side dish. I mean just something other than a sauce would be good.

Great selection of great steaks, service staff are always immaculately presented and very polite. Was a regular favorite for us when friends and family came up.
Only missing a star as our last visit was very disappointing, being charged an arm and a leg for filtered water they top up the second after you take a sip! Being told it was a huge cost would of been nice

A true dining experience that comes with a good slab of meat. You need to order sides to ensure you aren't just chewing on a steak all night. It is very pricey, so bring your credit card.

Love, Love, Love! I am a massive steakhouse fan and never turn down an opportunity to feast on a steak. Jervois is at the very top of my list as far as food and experience goes. Staff and service are top shelf! Definitely check this place out, you will not be disappointed.

The meat is pretty exquisite. And so is the service. We've been here thrice and we've been satisfied all three times. I'd recommend this place for great steaks.

Great steak resturaunt. Great cuts of meat cooked well.
Seasonal sides are very well done, the truffled mash is amazing.
Good selection of beer and wine.
Smaller place but can surprisingly accomodate alot of guests without feeling to close for comfort.
Nice bar downstairs for drinks while diners arrive and there is a seperate room for private dining.

Exceptional food and service. I have dined here on a fee occasions and am always impressed by the quality of the steak and how well the staff look after each table. Would recommend that every steak lover comes to Jervois Steak house

Great service with very friendly staff. Food was great. The king cut signature prime rib was perfect for me. Wife had the angus eye fillet. Being rated one of the best in Auckland is no joke. Will be seeing them again.
