Vibrant little eatery - Went on a Garage Project night and it was PACKED!! We ended up sharing a table with a random couple however it just added to the experience. Service was good meals came out hot and fresh. Food was amazing recommend Cabbage 65 for the Vego's. Vegan options here and Craft beers. Small place but real funky.

This place has had a total overhaul by the sounds of some of these reviews and also a name change though good luck finding the restaurant, let alone a sign. I almost don't want to tell anyone about it because its just so good. Run by the offspring of the Satya chain, this restaurant now delivers street style Indian food, tapas stlyle and no dosa as before. The food is cooked traditionally, with heaps of spice and it has real punch. The beer list is stacked with craft beers with The Garage Project commanding its own section. The decor is simple, intimate and creates a fantastic atmosphere. Your traditional Indian has been disrupted.

This is the worst indian restaurant I have ever visited in Auckland. The owner was unwelcoming and the food was very small portions. The taste wasn't great either Sambar was in very small bowl with only carrots and onions. Masala dosai had tiny portion of potato masala as in the photos below. I will never visit this place again

Owner was extremely unwelcoming and from the moment we arrived. If they don't want the business they should close. Food was very average for the price. Difficult and rude when we were paying the bill too.

Amazing butter chicken! It quickly became our regular lunch menu place. Some staff don't speak English well, so you could feel like eating in India.

Rang and checked first if we could order by credit card over the phone, explained we would be picking up with the cardholders permission (my mums shout, we gave the shop the three digit pin on the back). They said that was fine so we ordered, waited and walked over to pick up. Once we got in there, she took one look at us and all of a sudden the credit card wouldn't process because we weren't white and Pacific Islanders don't have credit cards or money for curry orders unless they stole it, apparently. It was very obvious why. So we walked out without the order and bought food somewhere else instead.
