Was told by a friend about their $10 Breaky specials. There was no table service in the cafe. Orders were taken quickly at the counter and breakfast arrived in a reasonable time on a busy morning. We bought their big breakfast, Breakfast of champions for $10. It was really worth it for that price and to be honest, I wouldn't have mind paying full price. Hash browns, scrambled eggs, tomato, mushroom and bacon all cooked well. My partner's Eggs Beni looked amazing and she really loved it. The Mocha was the best I ever had in my life. Service was friendly and great.

Went to have dinner last night with my family. The place has a nice decor with stunning views over the ocean. The food got to be the best in Canterbury. Their Sea food Bounty is the one to die for. My partner had Flinstone which was cooked to perfection (medium rare). Salmon and Lamb shoulder that my family had were great and they thoroughly enjoyed it. Dessert platter was quite filling, coffees were good too. The service was exceptional and the waiter was really friendly and very kind. The whole experience was amazing and I would highly recommend this place to any one. Waiter told us about their weekly $10 dessert special and $10 steak specials. We have already booked in to dine here again Over all, a great experience.

Third visit back since this management started and I wont go again. The first time my steak was so over done it was inedible, when we finally got the waiters attention I had already eaten half of my partners dinner. He told us the chef was aware he had messed it up! why serve it then? We had to ask for it to be removed from the bill. Second visit was breakfast downstairs, my whole family got their breakfast except me, when we asked the waitress she went away and didn't come back, finally went to the counter to ask and the staff member pulled up my receipt and told me he was trying to work it out. My breakfast came (wrong meal but I was too hungry to argue at that point) about 20 mins later and the rest of my family patiently waited for me to eat. today my daughter took me for breakfast and our poached eggs on both meals were extremely under-cooked. we asked for it to be redone and were met with no comment, she just took the plates away. 20 mins later we got new properly cooked food and a weak apology. Customer service is absolutely shocking and the cafe is dirty. Such a shame as this is a prime spot in New Brighton.

Thursday night with steak (15$) and happy hour 4-6pm. Tuesday night dessert and coffee for 10$. Booking in summer season recommended. Nice location with beachview and view on the pier and friendly staff!

Bustling Thursday night with happy hour and steak night special. Very cool location even on a wet night. Very friendly staff and a good vibe. Excellent way to break up the week from the grind of cooking dinner. The family loved it. Good value!

We paid premium prices for a meal I could cook at home. Fried frozen chips, lettuce heavy salad, and fish of the day was white bait. The white bait was tiny and overpowered by the egg. Lastly the view was spoilt by dirty windows. The staff were friendly and quick. But the food and the ambiance need some work.

Not sure if the issue is with the people managing it. The only reason they are in business is due to the location.
If the management is looking at this comment, please make some changes if you want people to come back here.

Food prepared by an amateur, No presentation, poor quality.
    2/10
Cleanliness 3/10; window glass needs to be cleaned so the view can be enjoyed.
    Overall experience: 1/5
