Had a great feed here! The service was top notch too! Nice atmosphere as well.

We came up on our honeymoon and stayed at the hot Springs motor lodge. Looked forward to a meal and a few drinks where neither of us had to drive as it is at the same address. Disappointed in one of the meals. The roast was so rubbery that it was unable to be cut with the knife. Ordered garlic bread before main and were given side plates with knife and forks. No other cutlery given for mains so left with bread and butter knife to cut through main meat meals. Bartender was more interested in chatting to a friend who arrived than asking if we would like anything else after our meal. No dessert menu offered. Never asked if we would like another drink when clearing entrees and mains. Had to stand and wait for over 5 minutes while 1 bartender chatted on phone and the other chatted with staff out the back where she could see us waiting to pay and leave. We were the only customers the whole time. Worst restaurant and bar we have ever been too.

Awful service and overrated food. Won’t tell you that your burger will take an hour twenty to reach your table. And it’s definitely not worth the wait. There are better places to eat in Hanmer.

th ribs i ordered were very yummy but the steak my friend ordered was not nice. staff were good but i didnt feel compleatly comfortable.

The service staff ignored us for several minutes while walking back and forth passed us as we waited to be seated. It took over one hour from ordering to getting our meal once seated. The meal was not to a high standard.

Nice ales to try. The signature dish Harry crump was tasty and so was the bbq pork ribs. Lovely old place with lots of character and ambiance.

Very nice meal. The lamb was suburb with lots of veges - pumpkin, parsnip, broccoli, potatoes in the jacket. The short rib was also good. Cheesecake - baked, so not too sweet, very good. Service very friendly. Definitely recommend

Menu OK were informed what was not being served that night. Able to run a tab excellent when with a group. Drinks reasonable price though bar persons could listen a little more intently so that drinks were served in the right sized glass, they were very good otherwise..

After reading reviews I was a bit nervous to come here but I'm so glad we did. They have a lovely outdoor area, great for kids to run around. Service was fast, friendly and they were happy to make small changes to the menu for us. The food was good! I had a $10 meal so was not expecting much, bit the chips were handcut, hot and delicious with aioli and my blt was huuuuge, and the bread nicely toasted. Hubby was equally pleased with his burger. We will be back

Amazing decor lots of inside and outside seating. Has a warm lodge feel with all the would and the stag heads on the wall and old colonial pictures
However the food was such a let down. Expected churizo pasta, instead what I got was nacho mince and beans mixed with pasta. Tasted like it came from a old el paso sachet.
If they sorted out the food I would give it 5 stars.
The woman serving us was very kind, she did a great job.

Had amazing service. Got picked up by staff in his own car as the courtesy van wasn't available , the guy couldn't be more helpful.we then arrived. Greeted by maitre d. Seated had a selection of wines bestowed upon us to select from and promptly had our order taken. Nothing was a problem, had a great time. Will definitely be back. 5 stars fantastic service.thank you Shaun . You were great
