What happened with the Hollandaise sauce on the egg benedicts. Sauce so think and gelatinous like toothpaste and tasteless. Nothing like the picture on other review here. Wait staff need training on how to set tables whilst people are sitting at the table, instead of reaching over people's plates whilst eating use the other end of the bench table is empty.

Great food and service. We go here every morning for breakfast when in Hanmer. Child friendly and they will do add ons/off plate to suit your taste.

Excellent range of fresh baking with many imaginative flavours using fresh produce. Well balanced breakfast and brunch menu, GF and DF options. Good coffee. Quick and fairly friendly service. Indoor and covered outdoor seating. Understandably popular. Miles above the standard fare of the cafés on the main streets.

I had the kedgeree and a mini mouse trap. Both were fine. Coffee was totally decent. The fijoa smoothies are awesome. This is a nice cafe and probably the best option in the town.

Vege food came out without half the things described in the menu, other meals not particularly tasty, two meals arrived twenty minutes before next two with no explanation. All were under same order number. Coffee lukewarm.

Pretty underwhelmed. The staff looked exhausted and beyond caring. It must have been a long and busy holiday season. It was a shame as the menu looked quite inspired and tasty however the meal (brunch) was a disappointment. The bacon was very unevenly cooked, the beef rissole and potato cake where cold in the middle with the scrambled eggs being the only highlight. The kids pancakes looked like like they were from the supermarket and heated in the microwave, they were rubbery with little flavor. My son did not enjoy them and ate less then half of the 4 medium cakes provided. The accompanying fruit seemed rather old and even appeared to be moldy (see picture). The coffee was good. It is a shame because the meal looked really good but seemed poorly prepared and was quite a disappointment. A nice environment and decor but the tables outside had old food all over them. A disappointing end to a otherwise excellent stay at Hanmer Springs
