Amazing campsite for its price!
Kitchen is equipped with everything you need and there even is a communal area with couches and a TV.
All facilities are clean.
Bathrooms are not the most modern ones, but good. (Hot) shower costs 2$ and I recommend to shower whilst there is daylight as the sensor for the light does not reach to the shower. There is no door to the bathroom itself, so it gets quite cold in there, too.
Still, easily the best campsite in the Coromandel (maybe even NZ) for that price!

Beautiful camping spot with good facilities. Very close to hot water beach and cathedral cove but still hidden away from the busy beaches. Watch out for the sandflies they are vicious.

Nice holiday park located quietly in a valley with walkes along the river and to a waterfall. Kitchen has been clean, lounge area dark but spacious. For 13NZD per person worth the drive. Only downside was the exotic bird at rhe entrance in the cave who was screaming around all day and night pretty loud

We'd been living here for 3 months while working nearby have to say Riverglen is by far one of the most beautiful and organised campgrounds we know.

Natue camping excellent and I agree with the other advertiser the swimming hole is wonderful , if you are in a bigger campervan it pays to approach from the Eastern end at Coroglen the rest of the beyond the camp ground is narrow .
