Nice facilities: Big kitchen, hot shower, lounge & bbq area, pingpong table, kids playground, bikes-gocarts-surfboards for hire. The camp is also trying to be environmentally friendly with recycling bins and a couple restriction here and there to ensure it (ie. 5 minutes only for hot shower). Very good for families too (even have family bathroom). For those who wants to go to hot water beach, this is the perfect place to stay with only 5 mins walk.

Tucked away in a lovely little spot - the beach is walkable. Has an onsite fish & chip shop that doubles as a coffee shop in the mornings. We stayed at multiple top 10s and this was the first with hot food. The only thing to mention is the facilities are quite limited, around 4 showers in the males and a few cubicles for other business :) easily overlooked though.

OMG I am in love with this place. Staff were really nice wnd informative. The park is so well set out. The lady booked us in a perfect spot within close proximity to the facilities but still far enough so it was peaceful. The accommodation options are awesome and cater to all needs. The beach is about a 5min walk but so worth it. My partner and I really enjoyed our time here and we're already planning our next trip back.
Thanks for having us and we will be back again.

Gotta give this one 5 stars! We had no booking and we were looking for a place at 11pm. Somebody was still there to let us in and give us a room and a space for the motorhome (which was next to impossible to get in this area in summer). The night manager was super friendly and accommodating. Although we weren't able to spend much time here, we still had a fabulous night. The place was spotless, by the way. Great place to stay.

Google clean camping ground. About a 5 minute walk from the beach. Loads of facilities, and reasonable quality showers with hot water. I'm deducting 1 star for their strictness on parking rules.

Travelled to a few top 10's and this one was pretty great. Great staff, location, fish and chips and facilities. The best around the region we could find.

Stayed here as part of kiwi experience. Fantastic dorm rooms with excellent facilities and a nice kitchen. Would highly recommend as a place to stay for anyone however, as all the rooms looked really nice - clean, well kept. Would definitely stay again!

Wow what a nice place. We did a day camping here. There was a music festival inside the park, made our day. Hot water beach is at walking distance.

Legit good place. Camping was nice, close to hot water beach. Fish and chips doesn't run for long enough (5:30 - 7:30) so bring your own food.
