Stayed 3 nights here in our tent. Very nice spot. Quiet area surrounded by trees and birds. Clean and tidy kitchen and bathroom amenities

Not as flash as other Top 10 location's, but comfortable and affordable. Excellent staff, Bush time so bathrooms not that clean

Very nice campground with a great view of the sunset. You are allowed to camp right on the beach, but dont expect too much out of the beach- it's a fun place to wander around on but mostly a large flat mud spit with clams/mussles/etc.
Facilities were good though with free showers and a nice kitchen/dining area

This is a peaceful waterside campsite with lovely sunsets. It has plenty of facilities, good for kids and campers of all ages. There are powered, unpowered sites and chalets.

Shelly Beach is a wonderful coastal area just a few minute drive away from the Coromandel Township on the Coromandel Peninsula. The Coromandel Peninsula is located on the eastern side of the North Island of the country. Coromandel Township is only 75 kilometres away from the capital city of Auckland.
