Excellent food (especially the wild game) and all of the staff were wonderfully friendly and helpful. The hare backstrap dish was particularly good. The pints of tap beer were delicious and surprisingly well priced!

From what ive heard it does a good meal. Often a last port of call when out drinking with a pleasant frontal beer garden ideal for sinkin' piss and smashin Winnie Blues.

Great little gem in Te Anau. Wouldn't have expected such a great restaurant here. A bit hidden off the main road, which is probably good.
We tried to book a table for the evening in the afternoon but there were none left at a convenient time. They recommended to just walk in which we did. We got seated in about 10 minutes.
If you have room for dessert I highly recommend having some!response / report this review -

Nothing wrong with staff. However, the food really not worth the visit. I don't know how others rate 5 stars. Very disappointed. We had 2 starters and 2 mains. None of them really hit the mark.

Great very chic little restaurant. Not cheap, but worth every penny. Had dinner here complete with drinks and wine with dinner, so we did splurge a little. Nice choices on the menu and the staff were great and very knowledgeable about the menu selections. Highly recommend this place

A favorite place for locals and visitors alike. Redcliff has a reputation of being the best restaurant in Te Anau for great food, wine, and friendly service. We had a great time here.

Love this spot! Cute little house converted into a restaurant with a great outdoor area out back. Great good - salad and Hare was awesome. Venison seems like a popular dish here. Highly recommend this place!

Food was pretty good but I was disappointed after having dinner here as it has such amazing reviews. First of all we felt a bit unwelcome as we came 15 min before dinner starts, although we were quite prepared to have a drink before. Also, I didn't know I was having sheep brains until halfway through, which I would have appreciated knowing before :-)
