It took soooo loooong for staff to take our order (30min) and they seemed very stressed. The food and drinks however made up for it after waiting for at least another 30 minutes!!! Probably wont go back unless i had lots of time to spend

Service was terrible and waitress was rude if you get a schnitzel know its only the size of a chicken medallion chips tasted like the oil was burnt eat therecbut dont expect your monies worth look elsewhere

Downstairs does a nice meal whilst upstairs is a popular hang out for the local LGBT community on Thursday nights with a live band playing 80s party anthems.

Decent food that came out quickly.

However, once the food was delivered we never heard from the waitress again. It always confuses me why this would happen. We probably would have bought another round or 2 of drinks if they had come to see us after bringing the food out even just asked us before they left after bringing the food.

I had to go to the bar to ask for some more water after waiting for 45 minutes for someone to come to our table. It may have just been to busy for the server's but none-the-less, this was my experience so I'm rating it as such.

Would probably try this place again to see if my experience was different a second time around, but I was only in Te Anau for 2 nights.

Great restaurant with an American theme staff are friendly.
Can be a little expensive for what you get for your money, meals could be a little bigger and larger plates would be nice rather than trying to be trendy and dishing up meals on a small square plates stacking food on top of each element.

Good selection of meals, great service and atmosphere. However the Ranch was let down by over priced and ordinary tasting meals. We had a pityful serving of garlic bread, followed by steak & chips, and vennison with the same old dry roast veggies (from the roast of the day?). I'd try somewhere else.

More food options than other nearby restaurants. Good beer and wine selection. Wait staff seemed to work well together and were attentive. Food (med-rare steak with veggies and Caesar salad with poached egg) was cooked perfectly. Nothing was over cooked thank God. We arrived on the early side.. maybe around 16:45 or so.

From the outside the place looks like it'll be fantastic! There was country music blasting and a good looking menu -- my kind of place!

Unfortunately, the food was bizarrely awful. I had the chicken schnitzel but it had a saccharine sweet and sour sauce. The staff was also slow and completely unhelpful.

Do yourself a favor and try somewhere else in town and maybe just pop by here for a beer afterwards.

Food was fantastic. Place was pumping. Really nice atmosphere. Great staff that do what they can to ensure you get what you want. In holiday season plan ahead as this place is really popular.Thanks to the team for a great mealcompliments to the chefs..
