Great operations. The doubtful sound cruise is wonderful, with commentary/ insights about area, flora and fauna around it. Delicious food with good variety and service. Highly recommended for singles, couples and families

We sprung for the overnight cruise in doubtful rather than going to Milford and are very glad we did! The skipper and the Cook were both first class, the boat was very comfortable and on par with our expectations. Even the bedrooms were quite comfortable.

If the crowds at Milford Sound are not your thing, then Doubtful Sound is a great alternative. It takes a bit of effort to access, but it will reward you in spades. Real Journeys conduct informative boat tours in a few different iterations allowing visitors to experience the awesome landscape of Fiordland NP.

This is a really well done tour. The Real Journeys folks ha e done as much as they can to make it a great tour, but in the end this is an entire day spent to see views that are no better than what you can get from your hotel in Queenstown. Doubtful Sound is nice, but it is not worth an entire day and 6 hours of bus rides to see.

Wonderful trip up Doubtful Sound on 9 September with my magnificent wife, Andrea - comfortable run across the lake - magical snow capped mountains and large pines on the bus trip through the pass - the view from the Patea Explorer was great - well designed vessel for the purpose of the trip - friendly staff - sun - snow - hail - rain - all in a heritage listed wilderness within 2 hours - bloody fantastic experience - add that to the memory bank - thank you to Real JourneysAnthony & Andrea 🤓

Great trip even in terrible weather. It is disappointing that they no longer go into the Power Station my understanding is that under new health and safety polices they never will again. Still some of the most amazing scenery in the world.

Professional and well done. They were using the Fiordland Navigator boat today as the catamaran was out for maintenance. We made it all the way to the Tasman Sea on a beautiful day in June and saw the fur seals lounging on the rocks. We also saw 3 blue penguins from a distance while they were fishing. The crew throughout the trip were great. Very nice cruise. I

We wanted to go on the overnight since we heard great things about it, but it was full. We took the day trip instead which was wonderful. We saw seals, porpoises, penguins and beautiful fjords. The tour guides were great.

We went on the overnight cruise in the Doubtful sound and it was perfect. The crew of 3 young and really nice guys made our stay memorable. They went diving for amazing crab, mussels, paua for dinner, we fished for blue cod, kayaking around a lovely Bay where we encounter dolphins. Just a wonderful day. Beds were extremely comfortable and warm. Would highly recommend.
