Went to get some chips to go with our freshly caught fish, ordered $6.00 worth as I was told the portions are a bit small, got there at 6 pm Sunday 24th ordered, a few people in the restaurant, always a good sign, they didn't seem busy, took about 20 minutes for the $6.00 chips but got them with a smile. headed home (5 minutes) fish was ready sat down opened the pack of chips, took one look, one taste, threw them in the bin. soggy and not cooked, never going back. should have picked up on the fact they stated closing time was 8 pm and they followed me out at 20 past 6 picking up the signs to close. and as for the $6.00 portion about 2 tea cups worth, rip off

Miss this place had to relocate, but we loved getting fish an chips from the general store the staff/owner are super friendly! Enjoy their meals too :-)

We visited as 1 adult & 2 girls 6&4 yrs. Highly recommend this store & restaurant & thoroughly impressed by the attitude of all staff. Friendly, helpful, attentive. Loved the small room for eating in & it's lovely outlook onto the estuary.
Would happily revisit
