Unfriendly staff from the start . We went there after à check price in internet then go to the office (40 dollars ) . The unfriendly ladies at the office ask us if we had a big wallet ? Then she asked us how much we use to pay around . she ask us more than 100 dollars after she thought she could rip us off maybe because she thought we won't understand English . ?

The people who runs this place were unfriendly (as others have commented here). Showers were freezing and 50cents only lasts 4 minutes, really annoying when the shower cuts off and you have to put more coins in. Especially this place is expensive to start with.
Cook house is really small and couldn't accommodate more than several people at a time.response / report this review -

Awful place. Not central. Grimy. Rude staff. Waited 15 minutes just for someone to arrive to check in. At 10am sharp was kicked out despite being off site and waiting for washing cycle to finish. Avoid like the plague. Such a bitter taste left after dealing with them.

Camp site is clean and has all facilities you may require, but use does come at a cost. Showers cost 50c, laundry machines use a $4 token. Close proximity to hanmer hot pools makes up for it.

awesome place. spent a fewww days there and the place the people were all great. very dog friendly with huge exercise area for the dogs. all facilities were immaculate.
