Good value for money compared with some other rental car companies. I have used Omega Rental Cars on a number of occasions over the past few years. The staff in Queenstown were efficient and pleasant, and I highly recommend Omega.

Superb car rental company! Used for the first time (used Avis and Hertz in the past) and can highly recommend. The check in and check out were simple , the staff excellent at both ends. The car was was fantastic. The price was very good considering the service and quality of car. Cannot fault the company. And on returning the car to Christchurch airport the return location was literally minutes away from te airport and the shuttle to the airport frequent and caused no delay .

This is my second time to rent a car from omega. This time we pick up at Queenstown city. The staff in the shop is so new nice and professional!!!! I must give my big sincerely thanks to him!! Otherwise omega upgraded an perfect car for our long trip from Queenstown to Auckland.

I used Omega Queenstown, collecting my zippy little Mazda in Shotover street and dropping it off at Qtown Airport at no extra fee
Omega was a third cheaper than comparative rentals!
Paula at the Shotover street office was lovely and friendly and even suggested places to park the car overnight. The car itself was clean, hugely economical and easy to drive
Dropping off the car was just as easy with a convenient shuttle to the airport. Will definitely use again and recommend to friends.

Pick up and delivery went very smoothly. Change of plans accepted without question. The car provided was as requested and served us well for 10 days and many kilometers. We have used Omega before and would definitely use the company again.

We were very happy with the vehicle we received from Omega! The service was a little more inconsistent. We were originally told, when we dropped into the office, that there were no vehicles available. When we checked online, however, we were able to book one for the next day!

Good value but you get what you pay for. I just needed a car to get around Queenstown and nearby towns, as well as a trip to the glaciers on the west coast. So it was an older Nissan with over 130000 km but perfectly functional. The service for both in town pickup and airport drop off were good. My only complaint is the very scummy practice of not giving a full tank so it is hard to replace petrol: either not enough and they charge you or too much and they benefit from the extra petrol. Very bad practice but not unique to Omega.

We hired a vehicle this week to get us around Queenstown and beyond and it was great. The hire was easy online and the pick-up was straight forward. As Queenstown is traffic heavy all the time we went across the road and up a few flights of stairs to get to our vehicle initially. I would advise if you have suitcases to have your travelling partner/s to meet you on the ground level around the corner to transfer the suitcases rather than lug them up the stairs.
The vehicle was perfect for what we needed and it was clean and easy to return out near the airport. Al the staff were friendly and efficient, we would definitely hire through Omega Rental Cars again - thanks everyone!
