Loved our stay! Amazing scenery! And loved the fireplace. Breakfast wasnt anything impressive though
Fairly ok. A little claustrophobic in the courtyard view rooms which don't have any windows on 3 sides . The front door and side windows next to those doors, is all! Staff are friendly and helpful though.
We really enjoyed our stay here. The rooms were quiet and private. The staff are friendly and so helpful. Lovely bar and restaurant staff. The food is amazing at the restaurant. We could not get enough!! Special thanks to Danielle at reception who went over and above assisting me with my husband as he was in a wheelchair. My hubby able to walk small distances but downside is place not wheelchair friendly.
Lovely helpful staff. Restaurant food was excellent with a great view of the remarkables from the dining room.
It is a good hotel with Owesome view of lake . Staff is really nice and cooperative. It gives you a feel of true luxury hotel
Apartment was very warm and cosy , undercover parking bays , lifts to the rooms , great views of the lake and mountains !! Getting onto the main road a bit of a hassle with the oncoming traffic !! Well worth the money if you are a group of 4 😀
Got nice view. It has the gym and sauna. Buffet breakfast is so so, not much choice.
Great location, staff are awesome, internet (wifi) rates are outrageous. You're better off to get a Sim card. Our heater didn't work which was annoying, but rooms were warm enough anyway. Would have been 5 star if it had internet.
Great location. 10min from Queenstown hub. 20-30min from Coronet Peak and The Remarkables. Beautiful views of the lake and snowcapped mountains. Decent facilities
Love this place. Awesome views of Lake Wakatipu and beautiful and cozy rooms
Good view of the lake but difficult to park large vehicles
THERE IS NOT ENOUGH PARKING! Came on a Thursday and a huge mess of guests that could not park. Hotel staff knows, did not apologize and they do nothing - sad! Layout is confusing especially when you cannot park. But other than that the rooms are very nice. Staff is minimally friendly but not trained well in handling customers. They also charge for anything over 30 minutes of wifi. That alone costs a star.
Clean place but I didn't love it. It has pretty views but our room was in a corner, more trees then view.
Our room was pretty cramped with two people and two suitcases. Even after we turned off the heat and cracked the small window as much as it would go, the room was still stuffy. I slept horrible both nights because the bed was uncomfortable.
The bathroom was horribly designed- no place to put your soap while showering and the shower door didn't close so the water leaked everywhere. So you had to be careful not to slip in the bathroom after a shower.
We had no kettle so we couldn't have any tea or coffee. When I asked for more towels and a kettle on the last day they said yeah in two hours when housekeeping gets in. I asked that at 8am. but I told them I was checking out before that and they brought these down to me which I appreciated.
They threw out my toiletries which I brought from overseas and that annoyed me a good bit.
The rooms are nice, and the views are incredible. I would stay here again if it wasn't for one thing: the ridiculously bad wifi situation. They limit you to 30 minutes free access per day and it's pretty slow. Every half hour over that is $5.
Booked via airline with a reasonable price. Rooms are clean and great to have a walk beside the lake. Shower doors are not well designed, take extra care when using them. Rooms are in the forms of 'room number' or 'room number + a', same room numbers are technical one big room, but separated by a locked door. When pulling out from the drive onto the road, usually it is not easy turning right toward the airport, always good to turn left into town. Overall, not a bad place to stay.
