beautiful place to stay, easy to find from the airport, excellent service from all staff, they even allowed us to check in early, the food there was real yum and worth the money! will defiently recommend those looking for a hotel to stay in Queenstown to pick this one! loved my stay here, first time but not my last! and to Craig the reception you were awesome thanks alot for guiding us and helping us out with anything we needed! need more people like you in this world.

We stayed here for two days.its beautiful place and nice cafe with million dollar view in the night and morning from the café and restaurant.

1 week into a 2 week stay. Superb hotel. My first concern is always cleanliness and this place delivers.
Rooms are gorgeous. Even the marble tiles in the bathroom are heated!
TV in room is staticy and picture isn't clear, front desk looked at it twice with no improvement.
The private cinema were you can book for free to watch a DVD is just luxurious and comfortable and they provide free popcorn.
Gym is well outfitted and you have free use of pool, sauna, spa and steam room. Unfortunately the spa & steam room isn't working right now. Judging by other reviews they never work. :(
Concierge at desk is super helpful. Restaurant is lovely but expensive.
Tip. Spend the little extra and get the river view room, you won't regret it.response / report this review -

Don't stay here.
Room stinks of mould
Ruined my holiday
This is a 1 star. If that.
I normally stay somewhere else. I thought I will change it up. Booked the hotel. Pictures looked nice. Turns out this "5 star" hotel does not even have a shuttle for guests. I was told by staff to catch the bus.
So I wanted to cancel my booking. Told I would be charged regardless.
So instead of a bus I organise a shuttle. Took 2 hours to get here and still cost a fortune.
I arrive. And yes at this point I am pissed off.
I arrive during reception hours. But the lights are turned off and nobody is there. And there is a big sign saying reception is open till 11pm. But at 10.30 pm it was not.
So try ringing. Voice mail.
Walking around can't find anyone. Can't phone anyone. In the dark. I eventually find an envelope outside with my name on it. Again I am thinking I should just walk dam the cost go stay somewhere decent. Drag myself around with all my bags and gear finally find my room.
The room is not really clean.
Absolutely stinks of mould.
Again I am thinking dam the cost I want to go somewhere else. Anywhere else. I have not stayed in a back packets in a long time but it would be a big step up at this point.
No safe.

Loved staying here. Views were amazing from the bar, room was great and very comfortable, staff were friendly and helpful, close to both Queenstown and Coronet for skiing, but most points go to the fascilities. Took advantage of the spa and sauna every day, so relaxing!. Definately would stay here again.😆

We stayed here last year and just LOVED it. We still think of our stay often. The beds are comfortable, the bathrooms are clean, the location is convenient, the pool area is well-kept, and the spa is fantastic. It's just brilliant all-round! A little old-fashioned, if anything, but so worth the stay.

Needs more wow for the price. Everything satisfactory. Bar closed by 10pm. Whole complex needs a good makeover. Very comfy bed!

Great views of the Shotover River and relatively modern hotel and rooms. Just be warned if you're a light sleeper, the curtains don't keep out enough light and the jet boats start at around 7:30am which can wake you. Shame the rooms and general maintenance hasn't been maintained to a higher level. No complimentary water in the bar fridge. The room service was questionable at times and you have to let them know you want your room made up, not the other way around. The pool and spa area is nice and would highly recommend their Burmese restaurant

Lovely Hotel. Room was superb. King sized bed, huge spa bath, plenty of storage for clothes etc. and stunning views. Hotel has a spa facility with bookable treatments, jacuzzi, sauna, steam room and gym. Restaurant on site which served delicious food although a little pricey to eat there often

Great facilities and staff. Older hotel, but that makes a little bit of luxury affordable. Loved the hotel supplied kiwi scented shampoo and body wash. The downside with the restaurant was that there was nothing cheap and simple if you did not want the fancy fare.
