The have new owners, and they are great!! The place isn't the best but they are upgrading at the moment and I really have hope on them! Beautiful stay and It's really close to the Tongariro. Would recommend if you're doing the alpine crossing.

Excellent place and great people. It was a little untidy but it got new owners and they were remodeling a lot of things.

Comfy, cozy, friendly people to get along with. The host is really friendly and well-equipped kitchen can be used. Free Tea, sugar, milk provided, which YHA could not probably do it.
If you joined Adrift Outdoors' Alpine Crossing tour, you will be amazed by its convenience as just 2 minutes walk from hostel to their shop. When you come to National Park and join the Tongariro Alpine Crossing, this well-valued hostel would be your ultimate choice👍🏻

Gut organisiert, sauber, nette Atmosphäre. Konnten unser Gepäck da lassen und mussten uns keine Sorgen beim Tongariro Crossing machen dass jemand in unser Auto einbricht.
