Enjoyed a late Sunday afternoon
locally brewed Ruapehu Brewing Co pale Ale at Kings bar. Very interesting venue with realistically drawn prints of International Celebrities.
Great staff and nice atmosphere. Be sure to try the awesome local pale ale on tap.
Stopped by the restaurant for dinner. We booked since we had quite a few people but it was fairly empty, but that could have been because it was only around 6pm.
The menu wasn't too big and there were a few options which were quite tempting. Went with the ribs. It wasn't too bad. The ribs were tender and falling off the bone and the sauce wasn't too bad. The portions were quite good. The burgers were quite big and the steaks were cooked to order.
Decent and friendly service.
Good value for price!
The best. Great host Stu couldn't have been more helpful. Very obliging and has really good local knowledge.
Accommodation very comfortable and service great. The meals at the bar are huge! and really good TexMex.
Nice atmosphere, and great food, especially if you like burgers
Comfy and great stay when hitting the slopes!
