Nice place. Staff were not overly friendly - cordial would best describe them. Ordered eggs benedict with salmon. When the plate arrived (bit of a wait, but it was busy), it looked amazing - unfortunately my eggs were hard. Besides that it was very nice, just a little disappointing. Coffee was very good, which made up for it.

The cafe is a large room, almost churchlike - this means it can get very noisy. Plenty of room and they can accommodate large groups.

We went on a busy lunchtime and the service was very slow. They kept forgetting to bring water to our table despite asking many times. Although the presentation was nice with a side salad, the painis and toasties were microwaved rather than toasted so they ended up being soggy and doughy. Chips were tasty but I'd only go again if the place was really quiet.
