Always a nice stay with a good home cooked meal. Nice to have a Wine around the fire without a tv to interrupt the anbiance

We paid quite a bit of money and expected a getaway with a nice dinner and a bottle of wine. However, just before dinner they said they did not have the manager on site so they could not serve alcohol. It came like complete news and no prior notice was given so we did not really have a choice but to stay there for dinner anyway. I felt it was disrespectful and not well handled. And the food tasted like it was warmed up in a microwave too. Disappointing.

Cosy Swiss style mountain lodge accommodation and excellent food. Great venue for hikers wanting to explore the southern slopes of Mt. Taranaki.

Nice quick adventure on Mt. Taranaki along the Kapuni loop track. Need a level of fitness to go down and up the trail.
