wenn man erst einmal hier ist, vergisst man alle Tagesplanungen und will den Ort einfach nur genießen. Unterkunft und Gastgeberin lassen keine Wünsche offen.

A lovely place to spend time in Hawke's Bay. About 35 minutes from Napier and Hastings, this old homestead has been restored to a charming getaway out in the country. Close to wineries and a great fishing river, you can relax on the porch or spend time with the farm animals (sheep, alpaca, and chickens). There are two suites to chose from - upstairs with three private rooms plus bath and balcony, or huge downstairs room with large fireplace and private bath. Best of all are the meals - proprietor Trace is a world-class cook and the best of NZ wine is always on tap. Breakfast is included and dinner is an additional charge. I'd say it's equally suitable for families or a romantic getaway. The host is super friendly and will go out of her way to make your stay exceptional.
