  We stayed only one night on our way into Te Urewera NP. The motel suited our needs perfectly, was comfortable and clean. Would happily stay again in the future.

  Great host, comfortable unit, all you need, also ask about the Hangi meal, too good, recommend host and facilities.

  After a couple of less than appealing stays in Airbnb flats, this place was a godsend. We stayed in the cottage unit, very well supplied and decorated. Service was exceptional, Ruben and Meri went out of their way to accommodate us. They picked us up at the bus stop, gave us late check-out, and drove us into town. Motel had many extras, such as free use of bikes, trampoline, pool and hot tub, and laundry. So glad we stopped at Wairoa Motel.

  Wairoa is such a quaint little backwater town but these guys were onto it for customer service cleanliness and helpfulness!
