We hadn't planned on stopping anywhere until we reached Queenstown coz we were almost 3 hours late than schedule. But, we thought to do a quick pullover and WOW !! A definete stop for 15 min or so. The view at the point is spectacular

Good location to the ocean view. Unfortunately, half of the deck is blocked due to safety issue. Has toilet and lots parking.

Great view of the ocean and cliffs. But the best view area is closed off due to erosions causing instability.

Excellent place otw to franz Josef. Worth for a short break on the beautiful drive. Beware of sand flies though..

Nice views although the viewing platform is closed at the moment. I rented a car only to be able to stop at places like this on the west coast and was a bit disappointed as it is not that spectacular.

Main viewing platform with a view of the pretty bay below was closed when I visited. Got some partial views from the other locations.

A great spot to take a break from driving, and take in the view of the vast Pacific Ocean. And there are public toilets here. Can be very windy, maybe not the best place for a picnic, despite there being picnic benches here.
