Found it by accident. Funny to visit. It's free and has a good restaurant.

A nice quiet place on the way to Wanaka from Franz Josef. The food is very tasty and fresh (especially the salmon).

Great food just off the highway. Coming from the north you just see the sign and a road heading into the bush. But head in and follow the covered walkway and there's lovely food by an open fire. Salmon feeding's a bonus

Surprisingly nice salmon cream soup. Nice coffee. A great spot to take a break during your long hour drive.

My wife loves the salmon here. Each time I drive past I stop and buy some. Nice high out look, with a variety of mostly salmon dishes available. Hot and cold drinks. Nice staff too. I would like more variety of food as I don't like salmon, but it is their speciality I guess.

Beautiful! The food is plentiful and delicious, especially the salmon chowder, and the homemade cakes!!. Staff are accommodating and friendly. Definitely not to be missed.

A real nice place and worth for a stopp. Coffee was fine and the salmon either. My suggestion for affordable gifts from New Zealand, I saw many more and more expensive.

Sad to see fish in pens swimming round and round. Quite run down place but an excellent range of food and beverages. Really just a tourist stop off and not worth visiting in my opinion.
