  Had a really fun time with my family. Amenities were clean and well cared for. Can camp right next to the beach. Looking forward to going back this autumn once crowds are less. Highly recommended.

  Excellent place to stay, owners very friendly and helpful. Beautiful large beachfront sites, lots of pricacy, just 10m to the beach. Very clean facilities! Sometimes you can spot dolphins in the bay.

  Nice camping. Cheaper than kaikoura city, yet clean facilities (free shower, with music) and very close to the beach, ideal for late evening stroll or lookout for some dolphins. Very friendly staff and a small shop if you forgot to buy some ;)

  Classic New Zealand Beachside Holiday Park. Right on the beach lots of different accommodation options. One downside it is close to the main road so there is a bit of traffic noise even during the night.

  Couldn't of asked for a better site! I've had the whole site to myself and it's got amazing views of both the sea and the snow covered mountains. I'd def stay here again!

  Lovely campsite right on the beach beautiful views and lovely staff. Very quiet when we stayed and altho it rained alot was nice to stay in a cabin and be cozy. The manager even gave us an extra heater and pointed us in the direction of things to do while here. Will come back.

  Nice, cozy and convenient. Reasonably quiet, and lovely views. Popular though, so book early to avoid disappointment. My only gripe was the boy racer hoon track to the north, which could be heard quite clearly at all hours of the day or night. Otherwise, this place would be a five star rating.

  If you're looking for a powered site near Kaikora Peketa is perfect. Each site has a picnic bench and water tap. It's right on the beach and has clean facilities including an electric BBQ. Not overly expensive compared to some other beach front campsites either.

  Really lovely place to visit, stayed after New Year in one of the cabins. Clean basic accommodation, very quite and beautiful, good facilities. No problem with the drive, amazing to see what the earthquake has done on the drive up from the south. They have made great progress with the costal route, would recommend over inland.
