  Great experience. They leave you be, the mountains are gorgeous, the animals wake you early (part of the experience!), and the camel smell of the yurt is very slight and not unpleasant. It was a bit cold, but the bed warmer put us all out within moments.
  
  Go to Kaikoura point for the hike around the end of the peninsula.

  Great fun to play with a lot of friendly animals. Advertised as free in brochure, but it did cost us $5. Nonetheless it was fun and worth a quick visit.

  Such a disappointment the place was run down and a mess the pictures on the web page do not match the surroundings that are portrayed you are going to pay some money and basically walk around someones back yard would not recommend it save your money and go somewhere else
