  Very nice atmosphere and spacious place with high ceilings. Great coffee as well, plus they have decent WiFi.

  Particularly disappointing as my previous experiences of Jones the Grocer were very enjoyable albeit 3 years ago.
  New owners seem to have removed all character and absolved themselves of any care of the premises, let alone the food.
  Fritters that were uncooked in the centre flavourless on most fronts whatever is the opposite of charming, they're certainly not keeping up with the Jones'
  I won't be returning.

  This place used to be much better
  When you pay $22.50 for a big breakfast you don't expect deep fried hash brown that tastes like the oil has been used to deep fry everything they cooked for the last month, it was truly awful. Not impressed, a real shame when a place looses the quality it was built on, also has like kids sized knife and fork they were cheap rubbish, just reflects cheap quality overall.
  Coffee however was superb, I have to say.
  Won't be coming back to eat.

  The place was empty when we got there at around 11.30am.
  
  Salmon frittata was tasty but average. Eggs on toast not exactly creative but it is what it's supposed to be.
  
  The interior is roomy.

  If you think that you can get any produce, fruits, etc from this place, then you are out of luck as the name is deceptive. This place is actually a fancy café with a few nice seats.

  Nice space, but portion sizes were really small for the price paid. $17.50 for a small amount of (really nice) veggies and a piece of toast.

  I really want to rate this place more highly; awesome decor, heaps of space, nice old-school wooden tables and leather sofas and nice branding but on the occasion I visited the customer service was pretty dismal. As it was raining heavily and I was bringing in a pram (up a couple of steps) with an infant, there were plenty of opportunities to offer some friendly hospitality - a smile for my son, a mention of the weather, a heads-up on where to find child seats. I would even have settled for a short, cheerful greeting, but instead the woman who served me looked like she didn't want to be there and made me feel like I was interrupting her work (it was pretty quiet and there was still an hour before closing). There was one other staff member there and he at least did offer a farewell when I left, but otherwise the service felt as a cold as a business transaction.
  
  Points for the layout, decor, child seats availability (there were 6 or so) and even a box of kids toys (although they were pretty grubby). But not somewhere I'd head back to in a hurry as there are too many other nice cafes nearby to spend time in rather than one where you don't feel welcome. Smiles are free!

  I love this cafe because the food is great with a "French" feel and you have plenty of room between tables so you don't feel "packed in" like many cafe's. There are also lots of cool decor bits you can buy while you are there. They used to have an amazing barista who did incredible coffee art but he hasn't been there recently
