  Tasty food (had venison and beetroot burger) and great selection of craft beer (2 different pilsner on tap). Good music, great place to go after work to relax

  I had dinner here with my friend. We arrived to the most friendly welcome and got a lovely comfortable seat out the back. I had a beautiful fish dish with fresh greens and a tasty sauce. My friend had the pizza and we both had a beautiful coffee and apple crumble. The food is well priced for what you get and we felt very well taken care of.

  Had dinner and a few beers here while spending the night in Wellington, the I had the venison burger which was good and the hand cut chips were excellent. A reasonable collection of beers and good friendly service.

  The restaurant's website lists trading hours as "7am till late" and the times on Google are suggested as 7am to 10pm but when we enquired about dinner at 6:30pm we were told the kitchen had already closed.

  Several different seating areas with different ambience. Cosy at the back, light and open at the front, plus a sheltered outside terrace.

  Busy Friday, three staff behind bar and only one other customer being served.
  
  Took 3 minutes for the other 2 bar staff to ask if I needed a drink even though they had made eye contact and continued doing odd jobs. Really just poor customer service, would normally have walked out the door but was meeting someone.
  
  Second time at the bar was almost as bad, but this time they did it to 4 other customers too.
  
  Response from owner is perfect, it's about getting the hospitality right. Cheers
