  Too my surprise, the staff were happy to hold my legs up while drinking directly from the keg. I wish there was more classy places like this in Wellington.

  Visited this place for dinner and it was all good. Service was efficient and portions were huge! The 500g steak I ordered had to be returned because it was too rare but when it returned it was done to perfection

  Ate there four times. Belgian style food was great and lots of Belgian beers. Service was generally quite good. The last time there I paid the bill and left only to be chased down the street by the bar tender being accused of not paying. Fortunately, I had receipts for expenses. Most humiliating. I won't return.

  When I visited this place in February 2016, it was a shambles. My friend and I were asked to pay in advance for our beverages and immediately we had emptied our glasses , they were whipped away as though they were valuable grail. I VOWED NEVER WOULD I GO THERE AGAIN.
  Today I visited with my husband thinking if the service was as terrible we would leave. Surprise! It was incredibly civil, so I chose the same seat as before and was truly amazed that the staff w
  as surprisingly changed into cheerful agreeable people. How this happened in a year's time foxed me so that I may consider revisiting . Please keep your present staff .

  A great old and historical bar. Good is great especially the buckets of mussels.
