People having a party in a room next door to me, 1 am I rang reception was told to wear the ear plugs that were in my draw, i was not impressed. I had an early start the next day which was a week day for an important meeting.

Great place to stay . Good position to visit the shops At Cuba Street Mall. A good stroll down to Lambton Quay. Great shopping. We stayed in an older room. Some noise from the street. But good and tidy. The Restaurant has really nice food. Awesome ladies that do your room.
All in all a Great team.

The hotel is an older hotel with a very nice redesign, fresh paint and well appointed rooms. Bed was very comfortable and decor nice. Was a bit noisy from street but affordable and clean. Would definitely recommend as it is in a nice location close to a lot of hot spots.

As a conference facility it's okay. Simple and functional, though sound isolation between the conference rooms could have been better. It's conveniently located with a wide choice of catering establishments very close by.

Great place to stay. Room was quiet and a good size. Attended a conference on site. Meeting room was good. Not too small. Coffee and nibbles provided. Bar is comfortable and the food is delicious.

Checked out at 5am to catch early flight but waited for 7mims at reception which was not attended. Pressed bell and shouted hello a few times until a staff happened to come out and checked out for me. Great location and room is OK but this is a bit disappointing.

Nice hotel. Good reasonably priced tasty food in the restaurant although menu a bit limited. Room had everything I needed and looked just like the photo in their advertising.

Nice hotel, nothing fancy. Walls were too thin so got to listen to next rooms conversation all night

Nice old place that had been renovated and has good service, but there is no airconditioning. The sun had warmed the room all afternoon so I couldn't sleep as it was too hot.

The Rooms are spacious and have also been very tastefully renovated. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay for 3 nights. The water pressure in the shower was great and the shower head was at a perfect height. Thank you to the professional check-in staff who were so friendly and helpful. My husband and I enjoyed the lounge / bar area for a time to sit and relax and unwind after a long day of walking the city.
What's awesome about this Hotel is the close proximity to everything. We did not need a car at all - Te Papa, the Waterfront and the city centre, and the BeeHive, all within walking distance! We will be back!
