Amazing!!! The place is very beautiful and green. You're starting to feel calm the moment you step in. The owners are so nice and helpful and they make great pizza and morning bread.

This place is an absolute dream, managed by two of the nicest people you'll ever meet. Come by for an action-packed weekend or a leisurely lay - the choice is yours. With tons of water sports, hikes, a stunning spa pool and hammocks spread around the property, your stay at Hopewell will definitely be what you're after. I've stayed here multiple times and I will continue doing so! Just can't beat it!

I don't write reviews but I will for this place. It was fantastic. It takes a little effort and motivation to get there but is so worth it as it gets you off the beaten tourist track. I'm a kiwi travelling in NZ who does not want a typical tourist experience. It's a very affordable way to have a feeling of luxury on a budget. Lovely simple rooms with a range of affordability options in a gorgeous setting. Tranquil, hammocks, sea views, stuff to do-or not. A hot tub looking over the ocean. A great place to unwind without feeling guilty about a giant price tag. An awesome big kitchen to do your own cooking but they also have just enough baked bread, pizza, farm eggs and a few other bits and pieces on offer if you can't be bothered. Highly recommend this place for a relaxing get away for the average Joe's budget. But be sure to stay for 3 nights and two full days. The hosts-Lynley & Mike-treated me like I was at a 5 star resort. Very wholesome experience.
