Spent three hours enjoying a degustation, discovery menu. 6 courses of bliss, paired perfectly with an amazing selection of wines chosen by the extremely knowledgeable and passionate somellier. One of the best meals of my life, would highly recommend to all.

We went now that it reopened and I feel like we definitely experienced some problems related to reopening . Just felt like service was a bit confused and slow , and we left feeling that it affected how much we enjoyed the evening . Wanted to provide some feedback so they can improve . For what

I arrived at 630 and was placed at bar for a drink, the waiter implied he would take my order but didn’t visit me once but visited the people next to me twice , by this point my partner arrived so we asked to be seated . We ordered around 725, we were sitting there with our menus for so long and honestly we just felt ignored by the waiter , we tried to get his attention so many times and just got nothing . I ended up flagging the sommelier over to order but there was no apology or acknowledgment of how long we were waiting . To be honest I was pretty annoyed and we were considering leaving .

The food was fine but a bit rich , I think our experience was just let down by service as we could tell the service wasn’t really working at its best. We were there almost three hours for a two course meal and a cheese course . Which I felt was a crazy amount of time . If you are paying around 100-120 + per head for a meal you expect more

I am hoping that they smooth out these issues with service as it really dampened the dining experience.

Such an anticipated event ! At $230 it was a big deal for the four of us and we booked in months in advance. So the evening did not Start too well as we were put into a corner tucked in by the stairs and as we had booked early I would have thought we would get a window table.
We were right in the " I cant see you " zone and were constantly overlooked by staff even when we tried to get their attention.
The whole degustaton took 5 HOURS !!! WHICH IS RIDICULOUS. WE BOOKED FOR 7 AND FINISHED AT MIDNIGHT.
We were left sitting at out table almost an hour before we even got the first course let alone a drink
The food was great BUT at a degustaton I wanted a description of what we were eating and the combinations used but we got nothing like that.
The whole evening was very average and not worth the price. I have had better degustatons for half that price
On a positive note the sommellier was FANTASTIC and totally save the night from being a total disaster
His descriptions of the wine were very detailed and he really knew his stuff.

Wonderful restaurant. Superb food. We had the 5 plate degustation, where we were surprised with every plate as we totally trusted the chefs. I have visited a few times and every time the service and food is fantastic. A lovely dining experience.
