Nice staff, but paper thin walls. Old, quaint building that needs some love. Parking is grim.

Huge room. Big bathroom. Perfect location if you're hitting the town at night. Great price. Parking a bit tricky

Not good. Good points: heart of city. Close to bars and good eateries. Reception is nice and staff very friendly. Big room with king bed and a single. Cheap rates . Bad ponts: Our room is below expectation. Paid $80 for upgrade because the room we booked was unavailable apparently. Room 202. Peeling and flaking paint. Windows rusted shut. Black mould on window sills &curtains. Shoddy repair in ceiling showing damp marks. Had to ask for new kettle as the one we had had rust in it. Given a used one as replacement. Shower is too low. If your over 1.5 m you cant wash your hair. First & last visit. Look elsewhere . 0/5 if i could

Room looks nothing like the photos. Walls are paper thin and we can hear people word for word in the hall way. Heating does not work. Found room with fits in IT. The hotel stinks of a pungent smell. Staff members not committing to what the website says. We booked 2x rooms. One room is twice the size as the other room despite we paid the same price. Car parking is first in first serve. Despite the website saying you have to pre book them. If you call to rebook they say you can't. Hotel is run down and looks like they need to invest more money in IT. It is more like a very expensive hostel

The worst hotel I have ever experienced.
The rooms smelt of mould and there were huge patches of mould on the carpets, the curtains also had mould growing on them and the room had not been ventilated for a long time and the heating and cooling did not work.
The wifi was also down and they did not have any hot chocolate.
We supposedly had a "executive suite" but it was far from it.
In the morning at about 8.00 the fire alarm went off and everybody just stayed in their rooms.
There was no evacuation plan, so nobody cleared the rooms.
There was one siren for the whole level and it sounded more like a burglar alarm.
It could not be heard in the rooms and also the emergency lighting did not come on and there was no emergency exit signage so it took me about 3 minutes to find the exit.
There was only one exit for the whole level and there were no fire escapes so the building was definitely not compliant.
I you were to be looking at staying at this hotel I would highly recommend against it.
The reception is beautifully decorated to lure you in but the rooms are awful.

Very decent size room with a large bathroom. Bathroom is clean but the room had pretty strong smell, like it hasn't been ventilated used for a long time. It's okay after a few hours, so it's not a big deal I suppose. Car park is very limited and is in a back alley, which isn't ideal and is a problem if you need to use the car in the evening, as the car parks are likely gone by the time you are back.
Overall this place provides decent room at affordable prices.

Poor experience for my family too. My daughter-in-law booked online, was sent an email for confirmation whereby she followed through with the process againbut on arrival discovered that two rooms had been booked. They had to pay for both roomsso no consideration taken into account over misleading info/computer-error. These guys are rip-off merchants. My son informs me the Hotel is poor quality, nothing like what is advertised :(
When discussing our issue with the Manager, there was no sympathy or consideration taken into account. Seems, they need to fleece whoever they can to make up for the lack of bookings they can make legitimately.

Filthy place. The outside areas are riddled with rubbish and alcohol debris. The place needs a good clean smells disgusting and our room leaked from the room upstairs. The staff are not very friendly or helpfull. Would never stay here again. Some advice would be get a better cleaner and update the premises.

We had to go in through the back door and the kitchens to a storage room to pick up a trolley to get our luggage in while juggling the children at the same time. Would have expected someone to help us with the luggage even if it was for a fee. The rooms are big enough but the one we were in smelled a bit.

Great central location. Room was big, but couldn't see the little tv from our bed. Too far away. Check in time was 2pm but our room wasn't ready until 4pm! And we had the cheek of a phone call from reception to our room reminding us check out was 10am! We stayed for 2 nights and our room never got serviced until 6pm. There was a muck up with the free parking. Twice we had to go to reception saying another car was in our allocated spot. In the end we had to park out on the road over night. The staff were friendly enough, just wasn't professional!
