I like everything about Hairlab Manurewa they are are such an awesome team and wouldn't dream of going anywhere else.Susie or Tayla has done my hair over the last few years first at Manukau and now closer to home in Manurewa.The prices are very affordable and the people are so friendly.For anyone wanting a change give Hair Lab ago you won't regret it.

Used to go here quite a bit and always walked out with decent results so that I can't fault. BUT I went to book another apt and my messages were seen and not replied to. Not once but twice. But fb page was always updated with their other posts. Disappointing to be honest. Ended up going else.. never had issies before.

It is always great when you come here and the ladies are very welcoming and lovely. Its clean and very spacious.
The price is affordable.
Threading and waxing is done well and they listen to what you want done. It shows that they have good experience and they do well.
I would recommend coming here.

I’ve been going to this parlour for over a year now and today I had an awful experience. There were changes in staff which meant the beautician that I had been assigned with had left and I went in to do my eyebrows, upper lip and chin. Firstly when explaining about how I would like my eyebrows and such done the beautician was off handed toward me. I explained that I usually didn’t get waxing around my chin because I break out badly and get scars from the wax. She ignored what I had said and proceeded to wax the chin and my neck area over and over and over again being rather heavy handed and yanking me, without any apologies. When paying I had to pay $22 which is the most I have ever paid for a service. When I questioned why the prices had climbed so much (I had been here less than three weeks ago, did the same service and payed $15 ) I was met with attitude from the beautician, justifying that because she had to wax lower than my chin meant the extra $10 when I had never been charged for this before. They staff were rude to me when I explained my situation and I was not treated with respect as a customer. I’m not doing them a favour by enlisting their services, and services like this should be taking account the customers needs especially if they have been long time clients.

Absolutely amazing service. Consulted me on my haircut and what would be good for my face and hair and what I’ll suit after having long hair for so long and I love the cut. The woman were warm, funny and professional and I’ll no doubt be going back for a haircut.
