Good panoramic views on a fine day! You can see Stewart Island over Foveaux Strait. The trig point has details of features in view. The walks are lovely but don't forget this is a hill. This can be one of the windiest places that I know so choose your day

The views from the top are pretty but nothing to lose your head over. You can drive to the top or walk via several short treks. Provides 360 views of the area with the ability to see Stuart Island on clear days. Check it out if you want to hit the southern tip of the south island. Also visit the south beginning/end of HWY 1 because, why not? It's right next to it at the base.
