Stewart Island's most intriguing residence is certainly www.jensenbayhouse.co.nz
an eclectic mixture of art and alternative energy, it is nestled on a hillside facing
north east with most favourite fen-shui aspects only a stonethrow away from its bay
and the ever changing sea.
the two guestsrooms are luxurious and most comfortable, but the hospitality goes
far beyond commercial interest. there are special and individual walks along certain beaches, most remote and not accessible for the usual tourists, collections of stones, shells and bones, evening drinks a most unusual central open fireplace in the middle of the lounge and very amusing and sometimes challenging discussions with other guests. if you are interested to challenge your expectations: this is the place!
