Management made us feel really welcome. The manager and his wife went out of their way to give us a enjoyable last day of our holiday. We sat in the hotpool with the temperature just excellent. We talked to others and I have not laughed so much forever. I would definitely go back if I could.

Staff were nice, helpful when needed, beds were comfy and we had a renovated bathroom which was nice, super close to everything. Photos of rooms are accurate but building its self is quite run down.
To start my room had been mixed up with one that was being renovated, that was resolved quickly with same room type, there was only lights on the head boards so couldn’t see very well, sky tv did not work, was no info about what to do in Rotorua, wifi code was not accessible in the room, there was very thin blankets on the bed and we ended up cold at night, not a lot of parking, building needs updating it felt a bit like hospital corridors.

The lady at the checkin was very friendly and polite. The breakfast room is quite big and they have a basic selection for the breakfast meal. The lady in the breakfast room is lovely, she is super friendly and absolutely polite.
One of the reason we like to eat here, even just for a toast bread;)

There is also a little pool area, with a hot pool and one cold pool.

The room was really run down, the water in the shower and the washbasin wasn’t really flown down, it was jammed.

Also the switch in the bathroom was broken, so the light/fan was running 24/7.
It was a bit loud so you need to close the door all the time.
Best part, we informed the guy at the reception that we can’t switch off the light, so maybe he could give us an other room, that wasn’t run down in that way.
But he just said, yes I know the switch in the bathroom didn’t work, so that’s it.

Be careful the heater in the room is super hot, you can literally boil eggs on it;) you switch it off, it takes a while but it didn’t get cold just warm (a bit).
So the room has the right temperature for sleeping, if the heater is on, you can’t it’s like sauna.

Ryan, Nicki and the girls are a fantastic family and as your hosts will make you feel welcome. New bathrooms, great rooms and a pool to take a dip in. what more can you ask for. Make this you place to relax in Rotorua.

Had booked to stay there 4 weeks ago but ended up getting a refund and stayed somewhere else. Place looked nothing like the pictures. The bathroom was mouldy, ceiling was dirty and the room had no aircon but did have a dirty fan covered in dust and looked like it hadn’t been touched in a year. Opened the sliding door and our room was located right next to the big rubbish bin. Would not recommend!

The room are big and spacious and the staff are lovely.Its is very central (an easy walk to town) and has large camp kitchen but the upkeep and cleanliness is way off. Ever drawer I opened was broken and the bathroom just was not cleaned. So if that dose not bother you you will be fine. PS the room has no fan or aircon which was not great either.

Staff were great and bed was comfortable but the bathrooms were very dated and in need of renovations. The shower was in the bath and shower head was too low. Water was always too hot then too cold and never consistent. It was also very noisy as our room was next to the driveway and people were always slamming doors in the hallway.

Good location - at good price
Less than 450.00 for 5 people over 2 nights is good. Overall the place is tired and the hallway walls and doors could do with a clean in saying that the rooms were very clean. The hot pool is lovely and hot is small though. The heated big pool could be hotter. The communal kitchen is fabulous. You get what you pay for. Nice stay thanks guys

really good if you need a place to stay for the night. nice friendly service but the bathrooms were a bit cramped. beds were displayed nicely and sheets were clean but uncomfortable for extended periods of time.

my only true complaint was that my key card didn't work properly. it only worked about half the time on my room door and it didnt work at all on the outside doors.

perfect for a cheap pit stop, but not a long term stay.

The family room we stayed in was clean, beds were confortable, linen was fresh and had everything we needed. Mini fridge, tea/coffee etc, hair drier, iron and ironing board plus sky TV & free wifi. Hotel also has seperate kitchen and dining room so you can cook your own meals if you wanted. There are two swimming pools and a hot tub, one of the pools is heated. The receptionist was very helpful and friendly. We asked for extra towels to go swimming & the guy delivered to our room. Location is good you are very close to town and walking distance to shops, supermarkets, restaurants & takeway joints. This isn't a five star resort but if you're after a comfortable and affordable place to stay the night then I would recommend this place.

Horriable. Found something crawling at night not sure what it was. Woke up in the morning and it was bed bugs. I took a video of them crawling all over the bed, then talked to the reception lady she said it could have come from our luggage or somebody elses. This place is dirty, they hardly have any parks and stupid staff.

Tidy, clean, wide rooms. Very friendly staff! The have a common area for cooking your meals and also two swimming pools (hot and cold).

arrived for check in but system down. had to wait for about 20mins. room space was generous and beds were of high quality. but the toilet was worst of all the hotels or motels I had been to (at similar price range). silver chrome for knobs and showers were eroded or peeled off over time and the toilet bowl was with zebra stripes!

Rooms are hot. Rooms could do with a little fridge & fan & TV. First time for me & my family to stay there. Lucky we only spend 1 night. Cigarette butts outside door. The price is good but will not stay there again.

The receptionist was friendly and helpful. Room was right by the thermal pool and the smell was terrible. Other guest were very noisy through the night and early morning. No ac so room was stuffy and smelly.

Stayed at hotel for two nights. Evening staff friendly, while the morning male manager full of attitude. Never greeted us nor asked us how was our stay at check out.
Shower was filthy. Room lacked basic facilities, like air conditioning, fridge, filthy kettle to boil water.
Poor room service/cleaning next day despite us requesting to clean.
Good for backpackers i guess. Will not stay with my family again.
