Been here a few times for coffee and cake. Love the coffee here. Went for lunch today and tried their salmon and kumara Rosti. Lovely dish and just the right portion size. Perfect amount of hollandaise sauce on it as well. We also had the salmon pasta. That was decent. Again well balanced dish just the salmon didn't taste as fresh. It was crazy busy as always. Good value for money and lovely decor

Exceeded my expectations for a cafe in Manukau. Was only by chance went there but would absolutely go there again especially to impress someone.

A huge thanks to Tracey, Dave, Abby and all the staff for making my birthday lunch with a group of 30 family and friends, on Sunday such a wonderful success.The Cafe was so busy, but you never missed a beat, the food, decor and atmosphere, was 100%+. Urban Soul, Karaka, thank you so much. Sandy D.

Had a bad experience over the weekend at the new Karaka cafe. Bad service. Rude workers. Food was average but was well presented .
My friend and I ordered out food and then went to a table, shortly after a waitress came to us to confirm a drink we said what it was and then she said "you sure,that's weird" we are paying customers you should not say that.
Ordered the corn fritters. Thinking that would come as fritters, not a deep fried ball. They were so salty and just not not nice.

Very nice breakfast, we had the eggs benidict and house breakfast which were both well balanced, had a good portion of meat and vegetables, and was well seasoned. The place was nice and cosy, a little bit noisy but did not affect the experience. Will definitely be back for a quality breakfast.
