  Really lovely little town.friendly locals..Distinction Luxmore Hotel is very good value for money..the rooms are clean n tidy. The restaurant n hotel staff are very friendly n helpful..Yogi at Hilights Restaurant was very attentative to us n our 6yr old son. Mahi at the front desk was also very helpful. We definelty recommend this place to our family n friends

  Great room with spa, really convient location right in the heart of Te Anua. My partner and I cannot recommend Hamish on the front desks local knowledge, for a dinner recommendation and his overall friendleness enough. 5/5

  For an upmarket hotel it's alright. The rooms are quite dated visually; I am personally not fond of the 70's decor. The staff were friendly. The café there looks expensive so we didn't eat there. There is a fridge in the room and the rooms themselves have a good amount of space, with a large TV. In the reception there are same games you can play and books to read. The hotel itself is massive and has many wings but is environmentally friendly. I think we had an upgraded room. There was quite a nice view of a mountain from the window!

  Terrible breakfast, not clean
  
  First to say, the hotel is mostly used by Chinese travel groups staying one night.
  
  Other guests are scared. We booked a superior room which is large enough and could be used by 4 persons. Unfortunately arriving the bathroom floor was full of hair, so we informed the reception. Coming back from 2 hours stroll, they didn't clean up the mess. Once again we intervene by the reception and this time the carpet in the room was vacuum cleaned and als the bathroom was done.
  
  The most terrible thing is the breakfast. Breakfasts are served only till 8.39 am, that is simply uncomprehensible and maybe the worldwide record. The breakfast buffet doesn't offer anything fresh, no fresh fruit or fruit salad. Simply everything canned and the cheapest from cheap. Also the coffee maybe the worst worldwide. Recommendation: miss the breakfast.
  
  It is clear the hotel lives from the travel groups, so they have to save, but please for individual traveller payingt the full price, it is just a no-go.
